  1. Did the manager get you to write all those lies for them? Say how wonderful the manager is , when everyone knows the truth. The manager is not experienced . The manager has no respect for the tenants. The manager does abuse the elderly. The manager does illegal methods constantly to get tenants to do things they don’t want to. The manager uses aggressive methods , intimidation to force tenants to vacate, alway a constant threat of eviction . Dose not have any respect for tenants rights . The manger does show discrimination to race , sex, age, disability status of seniors. The owner needs to replace the current manager , the manager should resign or the owner should dismiss the managers employment status .

  2. Wildomar Senior Independent Living is an oasis compared to the other Apartments for seniors. It was built as a park setting, with grass areas, lots of tall eucalyptus, flowering bushes, etc, it was built 24 years ago and it still maintains its great look.
We love to stroll around our parks, safe and without traffic noise.

Now, a “resident” wrote a very nasty comment about the place being a mess, accusing Melina as being responsible for almost everything, for been mean, condescending, etc.
There is a very small group of residents here, about five or six that were opposed to Melina from day one. Out of those six, two of them do not reside here, but are connected to two residents.
As I said, from the first introductory meeting, they complained and were trying to gather supporters to their side.
But, if I remember right, they were the same ones complaining to Bonnie about stupid things, week after week. Those are compulsory complainers, unhappy with their life and set to disrupt any change.

Bonnie was exceptional, but restricted by a budget. We are obviously not getting a copy of Bonnie. We were assigned a Manager that was instructed to enforce the new owner’s policies, regulations and requirements. More strict? Yes, but it was needed. Out of 176 apartments, assuming one resident per apartment, only 2 “alleged” residents wrote that mean complain online. That leaves more than 170 residents that don’t share their views and don’t throw tantrums. Melina was cursed at, confronted verbally and challenged.

Our parking lot was riddle with lots of cars that were not operational. It was also
a dumping place for old cars. Some non-residents parked their cars and left them for few days or weeks, knowing it was better than leaving them on the street.
That was changed by the new management. Visitors now have two parking spaces per building, with a four hour limit. Assigned parking stalls are now freshly painted, and numbered. Now, the parking lot looks clean.
The old security lights were dim, and after dark there were dark spots along the gardens. Now, you can safely walk after dark.

About the garden area being closed down. The original space assigned for the resident’s garden was ignored. Some residents extended to the north and south.
The large new area to the south was riddle with groundhogs, making the ground uneven and prone to a fall. That is a liability for the property.
A pity that the garden was lost? Of course. We residents are waiting for Positive Investment to repair the ground and somehow create a garden area with benches, and garden boxes for the “Green Tumb” residents.

Gate is fixed and operational. Lawn and gardens are properly care and looking beautiful. Gardeners are doing great work keeping the grounds.
There are things that still need fixing and improvement of course, and we were told it will be done; but not all at once. It’s a matter of budget and priority. We all saw improvements and are looking forward to see more things brought up to date.

My suggestion to the person/s who wrote those mean complains, is to move out.
We, the rest of the residents, know who those are and their reputation for being
negative, bitter, and chronic complainer. We support Melina and her good work here.

  3. This place has become a nightmare for caregivers and tenants due to arbitrary rules that do nothing but make life more complicated. I don’t know what the Manager is doing, but she isn’t doing a good job and when you attempt to convey grievances, she resorts to ad hominem insults and threats.
To make matters worse, there is no direct line of communication to the owners such as a company email or phone number to express the problems present.
