This is beautiful adult home. Violeta and her staff are friendly, caring and compassionate. Violeta has a high standard for her residents and it shows in all she does and her home. Homemade meals, spotlessly clean and everyone there is well cared for. My mother was there for a short time. Violeta and staff made sure she was comfortable and provided a loving gentle place for her last days. My family looked a several before choosing Yorkshire and hands down this was the place. Thank you.
I want to thank Violetta and her staff for providing a loving gentle place for my mother’s last days. Thank you.
Violetta and her staff run the most perfect Adult Family Home you’d ever imagine. They took excellent care of our dad in his last weeks with care and compassion. The home is beautiful and perfectly maintained. If cleanliness is important for you as it was for us this place is spotless. Comfortable spaces inside and out, nice gardens and view of the Cascades. Well equipped for emergencies should something happen to the power supply. There really are not enough words to describe how wonderful Violetta Sandu and her Yorkshire Homestead are as a place for your loved ones who need care of this type.

Yorkshire and all the caregivers gave excellent care to my father in the last stages of his life. I only wish he had been in their home longer. The caregivers are friendly, caring and compassionate. The home is run very efficiently and communication is excellent. The home is beautiful and very clean and everyone there is well cared for. I recommend Yorkshire to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and friendly home for their loved one. Sincerely, Dawn Hansen
I am thankful I found Violeta to take care of my Dad. My Dad had dementia and became very difficult for me to interact with, and care for. Violeta had a special way with him and seemed far more in tune with his health than his doctors.
My Dad became so difficult that I thought I would have to move him, and I shopped around and found that rates were the same or lower than large facilities with a higher staff to patient ratio (I found out she wanted to move his room, not him). Violeta was very responsive to questions and always pleasant.
I always found the facility clean and my Dad was clean and the staff always had a grasp of what was going on with him, and if there was a question of when he was cared for (like did he eat or did he shower), it was documented.
Looking back, I was lucky I found a good place for my father. I recommend considering what is needed by the relative, perhaps proximity, and the client. This is a great facility, but if a client is perhaps higher functioning and wants more activities or social outlets, it might not be right, if they need more one on one care and more monitoring and a pleasant, caring, but strong caretaker, it probably is.
