  1. I am so grateful to have found The Plaza at Richardson. My mom has been there since November 2024 in Memory Care. Katrece and Lia made the admissions process easy and Tina in the business office has been nothing but a joy to work with since she’s gotten settled. I have been impressed with the nursing staff, they give me confidence that they are giving my mom the care she deserves.

  2. I was searching for the perfect facility for my loved one and decided to visit The Plaza at Richardson. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Lia and Katrece, who work seamlessly together as a team. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care immediately stood out. They truly made me feel welcome and confident that my loved one would be in good hands. It’s rare to find such dedicated individuals who go above and beyond to create a comforting and supportive environment. I highly recommend The Plaza at Richardson to anyone looking for a compassionate and well-run facility.

  3. This a very nice and clean place. Katrece was extremely helpful in getting my sister admitted. She walked us through all of the paperwork. All of the staff members were very helpful and friendly. The staff has reached out several times to check to see if we had any concerns.

  4. My Husband was placed @ “ The Plaza of Richardson” by his Hospice Care Team in 4/21. My husband had Traumatic Brain Injury the Hospice Team & myself and just pulled him out of his previous nursing home from of terrible care terrible bed sores body sores and huge blisters he had just started developing that morning. Tradition’s Hospice Director knew the AD @ “ The Plaza” the AD placed My in a private room in a hallway with one other resident so he would get one on one care by DN RN LPN CNA along with our Tradition’s Hospice Team. AD had the Chief come to her office so myself and TH RN could explain the only things my husband could eat the chief understand it would be no problem.
I felt good about him being here and being cared for by Tradition’s I could not stay 24/7 they did allow to until he fell a sleep.
I was offered a part time job on weekends as front door receptionist I then saw so many things going on @ The Plaza that were not right residents not being taken care of nor watched where the residents wondered off to… The Plaza has two RN at the Nurses Station 2 CNA a Chief on weekends. No janitor not enough staff to care for 98 residents. My husband had the hospice care team who came everyday even weekends to care for him. After 3 mths my husband was moved to a semi private room in a different hallway. The Hospice RN called @ 7:30 am that morning asked if I knew he had been moved I told her no the RN told me you need to request to have he moved back to his last room reason being his new roommate was not sick he was a convict from the Collin County Jail most of that man was going through my husband clothes personal items and I had a snack draw for him that guy was taking all the snacks! I immediately called AD, SW, DN drove straight to the Facility. They would not move my husband back but said the roommate would be removed! The next few months Tradition’s Hospice offered me 24/7 care I accepted. Too many issues with “The Plaza Staff” the first of August 2021 the SW called to inform me they had Covid-19 in the facility I could come inside to visit my husband she assured me the staff would do video phone visits for me with my husband. I immediately called Traditions Hospice they were not informed yet were still going inside to care for him. The Traditions CNA saw my husband 2 times a day she would make video calls to me do I could see him @ he could hear my voice.
One Sunday August 15th 2021 @ 10:15am a RN (whom I knew very well) at The Plaza called me he sounded upset he told me my husband was choking the Aide that was feeding him my husband feed him solid foods not soft (because my husband could not swallow) I asked the RN if hospice had been called the RN said yes. I told him I am leaving immediately to come & calling Traditions Hospice myself! The RN told you can not come inside because of Covid-19 I told him if my husband is choking it wouldn’t take long him long to die so yes I am coming inside inform the DN & no one else! I called Hospice Team “The Plaza” had not informed Tradition’s Hospice Team she said the RN & CNA were going to the location ASAP. I was 22 minutes away when I arrived I banged on the F door no one came to the F Door I called main phone number went B door no one came went back to F Door the DN was stand there said u can not come inside!! I told her my husband is dieing so let me inside now!! The RN that called me 2 hours before walked up to the F door said something to DN and he opened the F door I looked at him he said nothing just put up his hands then I yelled back at the DN asked her if Tradition’s was here yet she said nothing to me. I just continued to run to my husband’s room as I was walked in I knew he was not alive. I walked up to his bed sat on his bed as I looked at him I knew he had passed away God had already come taken My Husband of 32 yrs & Dad to our 3 kids & Papa T to our GC to his Heavenly Home. I laid down next to him played music on my talked to him Hospice got in confirmed his tod 12:32pm! I told her put down I want his TOD verified by the Morgue.
