After visiting many of the senior communities in the area without feeling drawn to any of them, a friend recommend Friends House. It’s lovely setting among the trees and its garden cottages made me feel at home. Everyone I met was friendly, the staff generous with their time and happy to answer any questions.
The warmth and care of Friends House staff and residents embodies the Friends beliefs of simplicity, equality, peace and kindnesses. Quaker and non-Quaker residents all share these core values. I was fortunate to attend the ground-breaking decades ago when Friends Association for Services to the Elderly began to create a community excepting of everyone. My aunt has lived here for over a decade and loves the place. Interesting residents, lots of interesting activities and a great location.
