  1. There is no one on this planet who does as much for Kinkajous as Alex and her team. Words truly cannot express the gratitude I feel for them. Two years ago, a shady exotic animal smuggler sold me a bunch of lies… and a 6 week old kink. I am not an impulsive person- especially when it comes to big chunks of money. But something told me I had to take that baby home.

I quickly learned the truth about kinkajou ownership. It is not for the faint of heart- or for small business owners who work constantly. Even though I was rapidly bonding with the little kink, I knew I couldn’t keep her. I reached out to Alex and within a few days, her amazing right hand woman made sure the baby made it safely to Kinkatopia.

I can’t help but think I was guided to get that baby to her. The folks who sold her to me would have sold her to anyone and she could have ended up in the hands of the wrong people. Instead, she’s living her best life and I have Alex to thank.

Alex not only offers sanctuary to dozens of kinkajous, she offers education to the public on what life with kinkajous is like. Part of me wishes I had seen all her videos before I bought that baby! But then there’s no telling what situation she’d be in. And I can’t imagine a better one than the one she’s in now.

If you’re thinking of getting a pet kinkajou, probably don’t. 😅 But if you need genuine info on what it’s really like to live with a kink, not just when they’re cute babies but for the entirety of their long lives, talk to Alex. She does not sugarcoat anything (except those tasty kinkajou snacks) and even though she has a massive online following, she is super approachable and real.

Thank you, Kinkatopia, for turning a what could have been just a costly blunder into a happy life for baby Rue.
