I was a sponsor of an event. The team and location was just out of this world. Highly recommend!
Beautiful community and excellent staff and care. I highly reccommend this community!
Wonderful staff. Fantastic facility. Very happy to have family living here.
My wife and I are both 86. We had looked at retirement homes in the past but not with a great deal of seriousness. About two years ago, we experienced the first medical challenge we faced in our 61 years of marriage. It was a a sobering moment and made us more conscious of the old axiom “you can be five years too early but don’t be five minutes too late”. We started looking at retirement homes in earnest about a year ago and were overwhelmed by the myriad of options available. It was very confusing and a 13 column spread sheet could not accommodate all of the variables to be considered. After much thought (and prayer), we decided on The Terraces in Bonita Springs. We were mostly swayed by the availability (if needed) of lifetime care. That factor eliminated several other potential options. Being a CPA, I was conscious of the fact that the tax advantages of moving to this type of CCRC were also very alluring. The location, central to everything that is important to us, was a big plus. Also, unlike other places where I would have to spend time calculating the monthly remainder on my meal plan, the dining program here is very straight forward and very liberal. It doesn’t hurt that the menu offerings are varied and generous to say nothing of tasty. The move in program offered by the Terraces was a real plus. I can’t understand why competitor homes don’t mimic this great offering. This is a relatively small place and we have the benefit of having all of our living needs provided for under one roof. No need to go out in the rain to go to dinner or to the fitness center. At out age, this accommodation of our growing lack of mobility is very important. Lastly, the staff here has been just wonderful. All of the staff seem to know all of the residents by name. The Sales and Transition Staff didn’t disappear after we had made our final payment. Rather, they are still in house and available to help with any issue we may have. In summary, we didn’t really want to be here. Like most of our octogenarian former neighbors, we anticipated spending our remaining golden years hunkering down in our condo and caring for ourselves. My wife’s illness awakened us to the delusional nature of this position. So, we migrated to the Terraces and, thus far, have had no regrets
The Terraces is a BEAUTIFUL place to live & visit! Between the wonderful people, food, and staff I cannot recommend it enough!
