I am writing this review to acknowledge the outstanding support and service Marlene provided in helping me find my 91-year-old mom a skilled nursing facility and simultaneously apply for Medicaid. My mom was in an assisted living facility (ALF) and her condition deteriorated to where the ALF could no longer care for her. So, I had to find a skilled nursing facility in a hurry. Marlene was recommended to me by a family member of a resident at the ALF who Marlene had helped. Marlene promptly recommended some skilled nursing facilities (SNF) for me to visit and clearly and patiently explained the complete Medicaid application process (SNFs are very expensive). She guided me through every step of the process and went out of her way to facilitate the application process, even coming to my house to notarize a document. I was able to move my mom into the SNF and the Medicaid application was approved in just over a month. Marlene is a very caring and compassionate person and extremely knowledgeable about senior care planning. Every step and advice along the way was precise and results were exactly as she explained. She takes the time to ensure you understand completely and is always willing to answer any questions. I know Marlene will be there to help me in the future with only a phone call away.
