Do not be fooled by the 5 star reviews. There is no proof that they are actual patients. My guess is, that they have their employees go on the web and leave positive reviews. I worked for plenty of Companies that did that! If you want true answers read the negative reviews and see how many others agree with the negative ones by the amount of thumbs up they receive! Their positive reviews couldn’t be further from the truth! My Mother was found dead! They revived her and sent her to the furthest possible hospital. While she was in there (for leg strenghthening only) I NEVER seen her in the rehab room. I was there all different days and times of day. Not once did I see her w/ a physical therapist! When I inquired about it I was given the runaround. Told to come back to the therapy room on a Wednesday when “her” Phys Therapist was there. I went back Wednesday, the room was locked. When you ask questions everyone acts dumb! Every time I went there my Mom was so over medicated it was ridiculous! She didn’t need medication at all!!!! I just needed her legs stronger so I could take her home and she could stand when I washed and changed her. They are only interested in money. They drug the patients so they don’t bother them, and just take the insurance money. That is ALL THEY CARE ABOUT. People are wandering the halls stoned. Every time I went to visit my Mom she was looking under the bedding for her dog. She NEVER acted like that at home. Sadly my Mom passed away of a massive heart attack, even though she never had heart issues. She was there bc of a fall. If you want to keep your loved ones alive, stay away from this place! The pictures are also totally deceiving. It’s an ugly place! But this is where you’re sent when you have limited insurance coverage. You get what you pay for. My Mother was there for weeks, and her hair was greasy and she smelled. They don’t even bathe the patients!!
For as long as I have been here the service here has been nothing but amazing. Staff is amazing, the food amazingly delicious!
I want to acknowledge the Director of Social Services, Marvin Mitchell and one of the nurses, Tara Diaz I had while I was a patient for going over and beyond expectations for me! They are amazing! Thank you so much!
Marvin is the best! Joe the maintenance man help me so much .! He really busts his hump around here. !!! Tom and Jeff … the two big wigs are always there to assist and resolve any issues you might have.
Getting back on your feet , building muscle strength again … you can’t beat the crew in physical therapy.
Now …about the CNA’s. That is a hit or miss. I am dealing with one that totally despises me!! I cringe every time I see her working my side. Don’t they know I’m paying them and there is no reason to be treated like a piece of dirt.
But most of the nurses and CNA’s are in the right occupation , … showing residents respect and compassion!!
I have been here for 10yrs which was not on purpose at first but it happened the place was 5 stars then had awesome food but has fallen since then but that’s expected with the times,new staff, hospital contracts, so we have a lot of people from all walks of life coming in for treatments so lots coming and going. It’s a different atmosphere so it takes some getting used to but we try. We have bingo 3xs week, cooking club and other activities. It’s an experience for everyone. Our social worker Marvin gives us a lot of help and laughter. Thanks for letting me tell you about us. Have an awesome day and God bless you!
