  1. My brother has transitioned to Helping Hands and has recieved kind, caring and professional care from the staff. Chuck is efficient and has communicated well to help us through the process for my loved one. The facility is fresh and clean!

  2. You will walk into a beautiful home with an immaculate environment. The monthly cost is appropriate for assisted living
independence. Private rooms are an additional cost. The average price of assisted living in South Florida is listed on the internet as $4,000 per mo. Caretakers do not seem to have a medical background. There does not appear to be a registered nurse on staff. Charles is available for emergencies. The primary caregiver is caring and easy to talk to regarding problems, medication times, and administration. The owner, Charles, has an office in the home. He comes in and does his books and listens to Patient Grievances. He seems to be a kind man who is involved with the caretakers. After seeing the patient schedules, all patients appeared to be on 4-hour medication times. A patient’s doctor can advise Charles of a patient’s needs and order medications given every 3 hours or to fit a specific need. Health care Providers should send written confirmation and follow-up. Patients are not able to remember their medications; therefore, relatives and physicians should follow up with LETTERS, PHONE CALLS, or during patient visits. This will help you feel comfortable that all staff members understand what the patients diagnosis is and how it must be managed. There doesn’t appear to be social activities, shopping, outside events or transportation available. There is a beautiful fenced in backyard with seating for anyone wishing to visit privately. Residents rise to medication rounds, they care for their personal cleanliness. When there is a problen with dressing, help is available. No resident is allowed to come into another residents room without permission. Breakfast is served soon after. Three home cooked meals are available but basic. As it should be, no one is allowed in the kitchen. Evenings seem to consist of watching TV together; returning to their room or bed at 7pm. Residents appear to like Charles and most caregivers. After connecting with one resident, we found that the resident is under the care of a PARKINSONS SPECIALIST in Gainesville PLUS a local Dr in Stuart. It is amazing to see how well she is doing on the correct medication and her own exercise regiment. Family members take her to Dr appointments. This resident has been losing her short term memory and has a fear of losing the independence she once had. Family members are close by and visit; taking the resident on weekends and on family vacations. Medications are prepared in advance with the medication distribution schedule. This is an exceptional private home environment for a loved one to live, in an independent environment. Doors are locked with alarms for safety. A person with a fast degenerating case of Parkinson’s, Diabetes, Dementia, or a serious Mental illness, etc., may need a facility where nursing care is available.

  3. Helping Hands Residential Care Home has been a blessing for our family. The staff goes above and beyond to take care of my father, providing compassionate and attentive care. The facility is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with a range of activities that keep him engaged and happy. Their communication with us is excellent, and we always feel informed and reassured. I highly recommend Helping Hands to anyone seeking exceptional care for their loved ones.
