I moved in to The Gardens of PSL 8 months ago and I am very happy to call this my home. I knew the 1st time I walked through the door this was where God wanted me.
I have developed many friendships and it’s like a family setting. Everyone here makes our days very enjoyable. There is always various activities to take part in.

While researching various Assisted Living communities in Port Saint Lucie, I came across several reviews, including one from a user named “RR” who gave both The Gardens and another nearby facility one-star ratings. The quality of RR’s reviews, which are poorly written and contain grammatical errors, leads me to believe that this individual may be a disgruntled former employee. I’m leaving my five-star review to provide a more balanced perspective against RR’s confusing and negative comments.
Without question, I truly believe that the continuum of care that the Gardens provided saved my mother’s life. When we reached out to Maria, our family was in dire straights attempting to navigate my mother’s medical crisis from out of state (my siblings and I live in the north and western parts of the US). My mother has always been fiercely independent and deteriorated quickly and without much warning. As many of you who read this begin to understand, elder care and medical support for anyone over the age of 50 is…to say the least…incredibly complicated and as a collective system -broken. My hope in humanity was restored after meeting the staff of the Gardens. Maria and her team embraced us and held our hands through the process with compassion and unwavering grace. My mother’s care went from qualifying for hospice to being able to move back to her home in less than a 6 month period of time. I know our story is unique but I cannot begin to tell you the comfort we have knowing that the staff of the Gardens of Port St Lucie exist. If we ever face a time where my mother needs a higher level of care, we will be back at the Gardens under their exceptional care and expertise. Words cannot express our gratitude.
Director Maria and the Gardens staff, including all care givers and personal aides were absolutely beyond what is expected of a professional leader and team. The kindness, patience and communication they provided when caring for our mom (80 with challenging health issues) was extraordinary. The transparency, coordination and support they provided for our family was incredible. Our mom thrived in this community and we would not hesitate to recommend she return if she ever needs assistance in her day to day life. We are very grateful and very impressed. We can also honestly say, we would not have been able to get through such a difficult time without all of them.
