This place is so clean and welcoming. The staff are kind and patient.
My family friend who I’m poa over suffered a debilitating near death experience with a stroke and was on a ventilator unable to eat and walk or talk. He has tubes in every part of him. The transition from independence was difficult as the knowledge base and decisions were difficult. He’s across the country alone. In one years time although he is old, 78, and didn’t take care of himself before the stroke. This facility kept him alive and well cared for. He’s still unable to walk or talk well, but he is comprehending and reading and participating with friends via his tablet. For him to even pull through is remarkable. I give full credit to this facility on knowing what to do and how to care for this man. From physical therapy and speech to the nursing staff. They continue to get him at new levels of improvement. We are all sleeping better having faith and trust in the process.
This place is horrible! We had to beg someone to come get a snake out of the bathroom! They don’t know what’s going on! Mom is in isolation and the lady in the same room got outside without a mask talking to people! What the hell!
I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star. My mom called me the other day saying she didn’t feel good and the staff was refusing to check her bp or her sugar until later in the evening after her medicine. I had to call and threaten them just for them to check her which I had to call 5 times and the receptionist had to go physical go find someone to answer the phone, her sugar wound up being super high. Then while visiting her they brought dinner, they served her a bologna sandwich and cut up cucumbers (my mom has no teeth) a fruit cup and juice. It smells horrible like pee through out the halls except the area where the staffs lounge is which is ridiculous. This place needs a whole new staff or just needs to be shut down. Someone needs to find out where all these peoples money are going because this is horrible.
