I placed my 92 year old father and 89 year old mother here and placed them in one of the villas. They have had so many bad experiences over the last couple of years. My son in laws have to change their filters, change light bulbs, fix their drainage pipe and so much more. But my anger goes through the roof in the last couple of days when our temperatures dipped to the lowest in years. My parents heat went out and they said someone would be there, two days later…no one. I brought 5 space heaters over to help them get through the nights. No one cared enough to get immediate attention! I’m so angry, this is elderly abuse, don’t trust them with your parents!!! If you want to reach out to me at ambriant chestnut lane, matthews, I would welcome your reasons for such a lack of care for the elderly!!!
Wonderful accommodations!
Clean, spacious apartments with all utilities included. Caring staff and management, with great activities and two quality meals per day included. The smaller size community has created a family atmosphere for the residents.
In multiple categories, Ambriant at Austin Villages is superb. Their most outstanding aspect, though, is their personnel. Lesley Donovan, Regional Director, has established an atmosphere of caring, trust and friendship which not only extends to the managing staff, Deborah and Teresa, and ALL the employees, but also infuses the residents as well. As we visited on campus for five days, we were met with warm smiles and interested – and interesting – conversation.
The facility, about 18 months old, is a marvel of architecture and quality construction, well designed for seniors’ needs.
A visit and tour are a must.
