  1. My father has resided at Ashley Pointe for eight years. During this time there have been the usual ups and downs with personnel and management changes, but for a while there was an executive director whose poor management and people skills caused Ashley to really go downhill in 2023. After a revolt of residents, family and staff, Sinceri brought back previous ED, Jeff Hendrickson, who has put together a dedicated and caring, top notch team. The vibe at Ashley is once again friendly and upbeat with staff who seem to love their jobs and are engaged and attentive to the residents happiness and well being. They will go above and beyond, as I have experienced first hand. If you’re considering Ashley Pointe please disregard the negative reviews and don’t hesitate to check them out.

  2. There are senior living places, then there is Ashley Pointe. My daughters went hunting for a senior living arrangement for their grandpa and after walk-thru with a half-dozen candidates, Ashley Pointe was the choice.
The reason for the choice was clear: Ashley Pointe is staffed and led by people who love people. All the right things happen at Ashley Pointe to keep residents engaged, cared-for and active. The love is palpable and I am so thankful that my father has found a new home with people with whom he has close relationship.
If you are considering options for your senior loved one and you are looking in Snohomish County, tour a bunch of senior living places and leave Ashley Pointe for last. That way you will recognize they are a substantively higher quality and more loving and engaged option for your elderly loved one.

  3. Absolutely do not entrust your loved ones here.

The original owners were very friendly and took care to hire good, competent staff. My family searched all over the Puget Sound area in an attempt to find a high-quality assisted living home for my grandmother.

When we first selected this place the staff was very friendly, the meals were good, and the environment was very clean.

Well unfortunately the place was bought by new owners, and everything immediately changed. The first thing they did was immediately fire all the well trained friendly staff and cheap out on food.

I was out of town for work and came to visit after not being there for a few weeks, and my grandmother’s room was infested with bugs. The staff did nothing about it after she brought it to their attention multiple times. When I flagged down a staff member to bring it to their attention again, the gentleman didn’t even speak English.

Avoid this place like the plague, at this point it needs to be shut down or sold to better owners.

  4. I moved my mom into Ashley Pointe just over a year ago. At that time it was a wonderful place , compassionate staff who knew every residents name, good food, great & frequent activities. But earlier this year they were bought
out & everything went bad. Food is
inedible, burned, or under cooked. Residents rooms aren’t being cleaned, my mom’s toilet was black with grime. All the wonderful staff that I had a relationship with were either fired or left due to the new leadership. Do not take your family to this place . I am on the hunt to find a place to move my mom. I can’t believe I pay $5000 a month for my mom to be neglected & feed prison rations. **shout out to the only wonderful staff member left, Starla!!! You are amazing & I appreciate you ❤️

  5. Ashley Pointe was a wonderful place to live. A happy home, lots of activities & outings. I moved my dad there several years ago. Jan. 2023 the company changed ownership & things have gone drastically downhill. Since new management took over in March 2023, Ashley Pointe has gone so far down a dark hole it’s sad. Lousy food, no outings, minimal activities unless you consider popping popcorn an activity. The staff is very unfriendly and it’s a cold cold atmosphere. Having had a parent there for a few years, I’m so sad that it has turned into this because it used to be a wonderful place to live. Would not recommend it to anybody now. So sad. The new ED they brought in has systematically gotten rid of all of the beloved employees that made AP so special. It is such a depressing place to be now, I wish I could find another place for my dad. So many residents are sad & upset. We went from having 1-3 outings (which included restaurants, scenic drives, dollar store, fred meyer on senior day, grocery and drugstores) a week on our bus to only 1 since Sept 4 2023. We used to have 6 activities a day that were fun & enjoyable. Now we might have 4 but what they call an activity is watching her pop popcorn. In a microwave.
The new ED stated that we don’t need to do birthdays now because these people ‘won’t remember anyway’.
This is a vulnerable population- they need people to stand up & have their backs & fight for their rights. Like many of them fought for our freedom. Please do not bring your loved one to AP. You will be sorry.
