  1. My father moved into Ashley Gardens of Bremerton on 02/01/24. On 08/27/24 my father was transported to St Micheal Hospital where he later passed away 08/31/24. We vacated his room on 09/03/24 and terminated the agreement on 09/08/24. With being told by multiple associates of Cascades we would be receiving credit for care and medication management while my fathers room was unoccupied along with a prorated refund for rent after termination of agreement of my fathers prepayment to the month of September. After receiving the statement 50 days after the termination of agreement due to quote,” I’ve been to busy here and I just sent in the paperwork into the home office,” from the Financial Director at Cascades of Bremerton at the end of September, our father was only given a prorated credit for the days of 9/10/24 to 9/30/24. When I meet with the Financial Director at Cascades of Bremerton the Financial Director said quote,” we don’t issue credit until after 15 days.” It is sad that there are so many good people at Cascades of Bremerton, but now I believe it’s all about how much money can be gained. Make sure if you do choose Cascades of Bremerton that you read all of the agreement and not rely on them giving a brief description to each point before signing

  2. There were several members of the staff that were outstanding but there were a lot of problems getting there. My mom moved in on 5/31/24. We were charged for 1 day of care in May. My mom passed away on 7/24/24 and they will not refund the full week of care that she did not receive. I’m getting sent from one person the the other to address this and no one has an answer. She paid a $2500 “community fee” at move in and despite the fact that she passed less than 2 months after moving in they refuse to refund any of this fee. Yes, I understand it’s a non refundable fee but basic decency should allow an exception. They were great when we were signing up but now are all about the pennies and nickels they can keep. Disgusted with management.

  3. Incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate staff. My family and I were really struggling with my father’s dementia and didn’t know where to turn. Lisa went above and beyond to kindly and patiently explain all our options and to provide a wealth of information and help in an easy to understand way. I cannot say enough positive comments except to say it’s so beautiful to see that there are still caregivers out there doing their jobs for the sheer love of the people involved.
