Without Melonie and Choice Connections, our search for a home for our older brother would still be crawling along. When she got involved, all of a sudden there was an urgency to find a solution to our heartbreaking problem. Our conversations were filled with optimism and possibility. But most important, she introduced us to a network of colleagues with extensive experience who were eager to help. We found a home for our brother in a matter of days. It was wonderful.

I was unsure of what to expect when it was recommended that my family contact Choice Connections when we needed to prepare for the next step, for our parents. It was the best call I made! I spoke with both Melonie and Renee. After learning about my parents and their needs, I worked mostly with Renee. She was very caring, thorough and understanding of our concerns and my parents needs. We wanted an Assisted Living situation with higher care services near by. She connected me with several places to tour and gave me some questions to ask. She thought of things I wouldn’t of known to ask. She was very encouraging along the way. Our family was just in the planning stage for our parents. We decided on a place and had my parents tour the Assistant Living we chose. They were not ready to move just then, but our homework was done. Soon after Mom had a stroke and I was so glad for Choice Connections. We had a lot to deal with and I was glad we did not have to start touring and researching places at that time. We were able to move our Mom into a Nursing Facility and our Dad into an Assistant Living that was connected. Dad will not need to drive or even go outside to get to his bride. It is a sad and unfortunate situation, however with Renee’s help, guidance and encouragement we have our parents in the best case scenario.

They immediately directed and connected us to wonderful facilities that were licensed to provide the levels of care that would meet the distinct needs of both our parents. These ladies were instrumental in finding the perfect place where our father and mother can be together and receive the care they need.
