The caregiver provided was a skilled housekeeper, very kind caregiver to my elderly mother, courteous, and honest. After four weeks a stranger arrived from CK stating the caregiver we had grown to love and trust was no longer coming and she was the replacement. I was not informed by CK there would be a new caregiver coming. I had to cancel my plans for that day and train this stranger. I felt threatened and furious I had not been given any phone call or warning they would be sending a stranger to help me. I ended the contract as this was very disruptive to my home in an already stressed environment as a caregiver to my mother. Anyone using this company be sure to read carefully the “not client friendly” contract. They state they are not obligated to inform the clients of any change in personal. They also can sue the client for a ridiculous sum of $12,000 should you hire a previous employee within twelve months of ending a contract.
Front office has been very responsive and helpful. Billing has been accurate to date. Our caregiver has done an excellent job taking care of both my parents who are in their nineties. She also keeps the house very clean and is an excellent companion for my parents.
