  1. I moved my dad to 5 star’s assisted living back in February. The facility and staff are the best! Sally, Ian and all of the staff are always friendly and super attentive! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for an assisted living facility that is in a beautiful location!

  2. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the outstanding amenities at this establishment. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is a step above the rest. The facilities are top-notch, offering a wide range of services and comforts that cater to every need.

The food here is simply delicious. Every meal is crafted with care, ensuring a delightful dining experience each time. It’s evident that the kitchen staff puts a lot of effort into maintaining high standards.

What truly sets this place apart, however, is the exceptional staff. Every member of the team is fantastic—always friendly, approachable, and ready to assist. Whenever an issue arises, they are quick to resolve it, ensuring that guests feel valued and cared for.

I also want to highlight the dedication of the DRC. His commitment to quickly addressing and resolving any issues is commendable. He goes above and beyond to make my dad feel safe, comfortable, and at home, which is incredibly important to us.

Overall, the combination of excellent amenities, delicious food, and outstanding staff makes this establishment a standout choice. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a welcoming and well-run environment.

  3. Tonight’s dining room disaster was another example of slow service, items on the menu that they didn’t have, cold chicken quesadeas, cold broccoli, cold spinach and lukewarm sweet potato fries.

    Another dining room disaster :

I doubt you will call me this evening so I thought I would send you the details now.

Carolyn, Len and I sat at a table at 5:45. Len ordered a large glass of iced water, a large glass of borscht with ice on the side. A large bowl of chopped salad with a large portion of shrimp on top. Carolyn ordered the soup and a burger with mustard and sweet potato fries (hot). I ordered chicken noodle soup, sautéed shrimp (large) with green beans and sweet potato fries (hot).

First course took 20 minutes to arrive. Len’s borscht came out in a small bowl with no beets and no ice. It took three tries to get it right. His main dish came as a side salad with a small portion of shrimp on the side. It took three tries to get it right.
I also got a small portion of shrimp. It took 15 minutes to get it right.
Both Carolyn and my fries were cold.
After two attempts we got one lukewarm order of fries.
Almost an hour had elapsed at this point. We were then told that the chef, Tom, refused to make any more.
I asked to speak to him directly and he never came out.

Two of the servers said Tom had been cranky and nasty all day.

This is not good enough, period.

  4. There are several things about the community that my wife and I enjoy. The first thing would be the food, I enjoyed the ample meal choices and different varieties given to us. I also enjoy the relationships that I have built with the people living here. We enjoy the friendliness of the staff and the knowledge they have about their departments. Certainly, we have to say that the view from this building is incredible being able to look out and see the ocean is so relaxing. Both of us are big readers and there’s a wonderful library here there must be literally hundreds or thousands of books. Overall, my experience here has been super I couldn’t be happier.
