As a kid thats been in the Foster System from young age This Facility/group home has been the most nastiest unsafe home I’ve ever lived in. There are numerous holes in the walls and deterioration. There is mold in the ballroom corners of the walls and on the roof. There is loose fixtures coming out the roof and due to the weather, mold and water damage from the roof is growing rapidly!! They do not supply the kids with enough food throughout the week and when they do buy the little amounts of food they lock it in the garage but do not give staff/workers the key leaving the kids to drink and starve until a staff with higher clearance comes which is usually a span of every few weeks. We have to drink dirty tap water because MAJORITY of the appliances do not work. They dont supply their kids with enough toiletries for their hygiene and do not aid to kids of color. When kids voice their issues they are ignored and shut down to benefit the economic value of the organization and not the well being of the kids in their possession.
Any of y’all upper management gonna tell me why you not only have had no inspections this year and none since I’ve moved to the group home back in October. Also tell me why when the staff have no kids at the home they can’t come pick me up from after school because I had to miss the bus to talk to my guardian ad litem at 3:30 and the reason why I have to do it at school is because we have no WIFI at the group home. Been like that since November of 2023. Im currently stuck at school writing this at 6pm. What great staff only doing the bare minimum…
As a youth that lives in one of there facilities I have experienced multiple occasions of things that upset me and things that should be in place as of today I woke up and had something wrong with my neck it hurt very badly and I couldn’t move or else it would hurt even more I asked staff to take to the hospital they refused saying that it would go away in a matter of a couple of hours it did not and staff still refused to take me
As a child who is currently here, I will say this group home is disgusting dirty filthy. The staff are rude. They scream at the kids and I don’t feel safe here. I have never talk to any of the bosses they never show up. we are underfunded and none of the kids like it here! And there’s never any food i asked for food the staff said ok and i asked alot of times nothing was done i go hungry alot of nights. please change for the next generation of children who have to live here❤️
