Gala at Central Park – 62 and Up!

I have had people knocking on my door at. 1am. All floors have had nuisance knocking. Gate stays open for months at a time. Back doors are never locked. We have had people painting on the walls of our halls. Men standing in front of our cameras. We call the police but management will not do anything. Its been 2 months, gate still open. Rent is waaaay too high. We have no activities other than what the residents supply.

The security gates have been broken for months back doors there’s no locks. People are coming in all hours of the night knocking on doors. They have even tried to open the apartments doors .. something has to be done.. thanks for listening. Some days I smell smoke people are smoking in their apartment s also

I have been here 3 years with the hope it would get better. No security at all entrance gate has been broken for 6 months. Anyone can come in any time. We have people getting woken up at 3 and 4 PM. By someone banging on their door. Some of the ladies have been afraid this person is trying to get it their apartment. I love my friends and my apartment but something needs to be done. Corporate this means you. FIX IT

The security is awful. Doors are never locked and front gate has been broken for months. There has been graffiti written on the walls inside from a break in and recently someone is walking the halls at 3 AM trying to get in apartments. They can’t keep any office help so the office is usually closed and children are living there and it’s 62+. The residents are not safe there

I have been here two years now. The new management is great .. much more transparent than previous in my opinion.
I have had no major problems with my apartment, only small things that were resolved.. The place is clean for the most part, I live on the 1 st floor, the outside is maintained well.. I think maintence tries to do a good job.. Our entrance windows are usually very dirty..

My main concern are the gates.. Our exit gate malfunctioned and damaged my car.. I had to file this with my personal insurance, this was not my fault and I’m not the only one this has happened to. A few days ago it was sitting open.. After the last bad thunder/hail storm we had, my car was damaged by the hail.. FIRST pictures advertisement of this property showed covered parking, that never came.
My insurance agent reminded me IF YOU MAKE ANOTHER CLAIM YOU WILL HAVE AN STEAP INCREASE OR BE CANCELLED.. The value of my Auto went down a lot. The ENTRANCE GAIT HAS BEEN SITTING OPEN WELL OVER A MONTH. On the pool side of the parking lot there has been 3-4 men seen going from car to car looking in. I’m told this was recently reported. One resident has called police thinking someone had messed with her car.
I live on the West side of parking lot close to the EXIT GATE.. I AM WOKE UP AT LEAST 2 x a WEEK BY CAR ALARMS GOING OFF at 3-4 AM. I usually turn my patio light on, it stops. I finally talked to the owner of one of the cars, she agreed and told me she is woke up also and uses her keys to turn the alarm off . This I will be reporting to police.. Well I’m sure the residents have built-in amounts we are paying for GATED COMMUNITY! These gates should be Repaired.

. Residents come and go at different times of the day and night, some late night and are afraid.. OTHERS like myself need to walk their dogs after dark sometimes..We do not feel safe. . We were told some time ago by management they were considering cameras? The above mentioned I know to be true however, I’ve heard transit people have been caught in rest rooms/fitness area, not sure but we need something done. I will report to police.
I wanted to follow correct Protocol, I hope I have.. I plan to talk to the office and call our Management representative..
