Edit: i moved in about a month ago.. tenant above me constantly makes noise after hours almost every night. I complained to management. Nothing changed. Got to the point where I called the police. Still nothing changed. No on-site security. I plan to move to a quiet place where management responds and enforces quiet time.
This place is absolutely beautiful!! I moved in here in the middle of May, and I still have to pinch myself each morning, to know I am not dreaming. The units are gorgeous, I have a one bedroom, and they are so spacious, the bathrooms are very big and there’s even room for a small dresser or nice size shelving unit. Everything is brand new, so maintaining cleanliness , is NOT an issue. The appliances, including the central A/C, are up to date, the cabinetry, the flooring, the carpet, and the paint, are so easily matching, with any decor, The hallways are quiet and very big, there’s a garbage chute near the elevator lobby, and then there the 4th floor, with a dog or cat area, to let your ESA get some exercise, the laundry room is also there, you need to download the WASH CONNECT app for that, the washers and dryers work great, and there’s plenty of space to lock up your e-bikes, your regular bicycles, and even your mopeds, i believe. If not, there’s metered parking right out front, with another app you can install, PARK SMART. And the staff are fantastic!! Cheryl, Heather and Art, are doing a great job, they are friendly, kind and understanding, and easy to get a hold of. I guess the last thing I can say, is living on the 16th floor, and I cant imagine its bad from any floor, is the view…..a million dollar one, in my mind. I give this place 5☆☆☆☆☆
Units are nice but their parking situations are awful. Not enough stalls for all residents and gets towed if they park outside the stalls. They expects all seniors who don’t have stalls but needs transportation by car to park outside the apartment which is in Chinatown. It is very unrealistic and unsafe.
The staff are so friendly. I live in the mainland. Trying to move back home. I think his name was Max he’s the office manager he’s so loving and caring. Then they was a girl answered and she was also nice didn’t get her name. I filled my application in line they helped me. Thank you again trying to get us home aloha from Az Vanessa raquedan

Halewai’Olu Senior Residence is a great place for senior living. It’s relaxing and comfortable. Also pet friendly with an outdoor play area.
The Office Staff are all friendly and greats us with a smile and say hi. They treat you like their family.
Mr. Art is friendly and kind. He patiently explains and he is very helpful. He’s a nice man.
The building is beautiful. The inside has a nice lobby to sit relax and socialize. The rooms are spacious and nice with air conditioning.
It’s also conviniant and in walking distance to a lot of places. Now there is a Bus Stop right in front of the building making it even more convenient.
There’s activities for the tennents. Like parties for different occasions.
My Family and I recently moved in and we love it here. We are happy to call Halewai’olu Senior Residence our home. It is Home Sweet Home.
