The living and community spaces are elegant with just-right warmth. There’s so much to do and share here, it’s a place where families can connect again. Renovations are underway bringing stylish new interior designs with even more great amenities.
Let’s talk about senior living. For that, you want to love where you are, who surrounds you, and what you’re doing.
The facility and the employees I came in contact with were great. Melanie the activity director showed us around. She was wonderful. We were very impressed. I sent an email and left a voicemessage to the admissions nurse. She finally called me back and said her fellow employee would call me back for an assessment of my father. This was a week ago. They had corporate visiting so I understood. I left 2 messages and sent another email. No answer. All I want is an answer as to whether they can accommodate my father. If not it is okay. Where’s the professionalism.
UPDATE: I had the director of Homeplace of New Bern call me and make this right. She was very nice and was a huge help. Thank you so much!
A pleasure to be invited to play some old songs for the residents. Happy faces and singing along with the Old Time Music Machine.
This facility treats all their residents like family. Vary Caring and particular to the sensitivities of each person as they struggle with cognitive activities. Wonderful CARE!
As a member of Leadership Craven, I recently had the privilege of attending an especially informative presentation at Home Place. The presenter, Catherine Lawrence gave the most comprehensive overview of Senior Living options, and the subsequent care considerations I’ve heard. The thoroughness of training, knowledge of the industry, and sincere concern for the Home Place residents is impressive and apparent. This visit made me aware of senior living options I had not considered before. Great to know you are there.
