From activities and outdoor spaces meant to nourish body and soul, to comprehensive assisted living and memory care for those who need it, the Ivy Park team is here to help our residents live their best lives.
Welcome to Ivy Park at Pleasanton. Located at the heart of the Tri-Valley, Ivy Park at Pleasanton brings a welcoming ambience to this suburban small town atmosphere. Ivy Park offers fulfilling and flexible senior living with a range of services for every phase of retirement.
This place is not healthy for the seniors when you walk in and ask questions they pretend to care about your family members they don’t i also have noticed how badly they treat the melanin staff.
Very irresponsible and unprofessional staff all around. “Gina” who I believe is the Director and “Kathy” who regularly answers the phone, have continued to be unavailable to respond to our requests and inquiries about my Mum who is sadly, in hospice care now. My mum has experienced 3 unwitnessed falls since she was admitted to The Ivy Memory Care. Sadly, the 3rd unwitnessed fall left my mum with a broken femur and laying on the hard floor surface of her bedroom. Why she was not provided with bed rails, a fall mat and additional “care” as was stated to be “provided”, is still not known. This Easter Sunday, 03/31/2024, we called The Ivy and Kathy answered. We asked if someone (e.g., hospice staff), could read a text message aloud to my mum and show her the 3 attached photos sent as well (we live out of state). Kathy was unable to reach anyone on their walkie talkies as she stated to us, “they’re not answering their walkie talkies and probably didn’t charge them this morning “.. We called one hour later and Kathy answered again. Still, not able to reach any staff on their walkie talkies and this time saying that “..they’re serving lunch now and that’s probably why they’re not answering..”. Very frustrating to hear that the “advanced care and provided services, in hospice” , are not all that much better than the standard memory care services that failed to provide my mum with a safe, secure and clean living environment in the first place. The facility is not transparent, is understaffed and quite inconsistent with the provision of care that is given to residents. A sad place for anyone to be.
We went to visit Sunrise of Pleasanton on behalf of my mother. We walked into the lodge and were immediately greeted at the door. We waited not even one minute and Gina arrived and took us around. She is very nice. Everyone seemed nice. But Gina was exceptional! The domiciles were in order and everywhere looked clean and patrons seemed content. A good warm feeling. We are not ready to move mother in quite yet. But I will bring mother back when we all decide
Sunrise of Pleasanton is so kind and caring. My Uncle needed a community that provides a high level of care. We worked with Tracy the Executive Director and Gina the Sales Director. They helped us every step of the way through a stressful situation. My Uncle is loving it there, the staff is great! Living at Sunrise of Pleasanton he has made a complete recovery and is thriving! Thank you Sunrise!!
My father at 96 was reaching the point he needed a higher level of care. He was always very much opposed to moving out of his house, so we knew it was going to be a difficult process. I can’t say enough about how supportive and helpful the staff at Sunrise was in easing us through the ordeal. Gina in particular was just great. In addition to making the transition easy, they also put us in touch with a fantastic Hospice service that they worked closely with. The Sunrise facility is very clean, and well appointed. Beautiful gardens, roof top verandas, nice dining room, and great living quarters.
We finally got Dad down there for a tour, and even he said it looked like a 5 star resort after the viewing.
Unfortunately, he passed a few days before he was scheduled to move in, so we didn’t get to experience the full program – but if it was anything like the initial touch we had with these folks – he would have enjoyed his time there.
