I would like to take this time to give Life Care Center in Plano Tx a Five Star review, my mother has been there for the past few weeks and it has been a outstanding experience the professionalism has been great the employees have been warm and gracious to my Mom from the nurses, CNAs Housekeeping and Front Office. I highly recommend this location they made things great for my Mom and I Thank you
Very happy with the care provided to my mom. Only four stars because it’s an older facility without central heat/AC (window units in each room kept things pretty comfortable), but my mom raved about the caring staff, cleanliness, and food. This is not a resort, but it’s a place where I felt confident that my mom was being taken care of while recovering from an injury.
This place was highly recommended when we were looking for a place for my father in law.
We were VERY disappointed in the care or lack thereof, in which he received. He was placed in a room and pretty much forgotten about. There was no interaction with him. The staff was rude and uncaring and did not communicate well with us when we would call to check on him, as we live 4 hours away and could not be there as often as we would have liked. He had several items, including his phone, which came up missing while there.
He went from being upbeat and a people person to pretty much lifeless in the 90 days he was there. After moving him to another facility, he has had a 360* turnaround and is once again full of life.
I do not recommend this place.
My mom was transferred to LCC Plano skilled nursing from Hospital rehab in pretty bad shape after a fall that broke her arm. Within a couple of days there, she was more awake, alert and happily chatting with me, Drs and staff. She received great care – PT, OT Dr. visit transports and enjoyed the food and friendliness of her caregivers. LCC was also very helpful in finding a successful option following her release. Finding elderly care solutions, especially those with dementia is extremely difficult. I would recommend LCCP for those in need.
