  1. We recently moved my mom into MorningPointe in Spring Hill, Tn. The experience could not have gone any better. Every aspect of the process from the intake to getting my mom settled during her first week has been excellent. Alicia, Dustin and the entire team have been great to work with. They are all fully engaged and really care about taking care of their residents. We have had 6 years of experience with Assisted Living facilities. Our experience with Morning Point in Spring Hill has exceeded all expectations!! Thank you!

  2. The staff here were compassionate and very helpful when we came to tour and move mom for the very first time to assisted living. The community is clean and feels very peaceful. The unfortunate part of our story is that my mom should never have been assessed at Assisted Living status. She should have gone directly to memory care. I believe the motive was to give her the most independence possible, but it became a nightmare for our family. Within a couple of weeks my mom was having multiple issues with receiving care and with other residents who did not have dementia. She was in the wrong community … others didn’t understand her or know how to deal with her delusions and hallucinations. The staff told us that we had to take mom to geriatric psychiatric facility (which was like an insane asylum prison, and that absolutely devastated me). She was not allowed to come back to her room there after spending 20 days being injected with all sorts of medications that traumatized her and me. There was no one really managing this journey for us as a family or making sure the goals were clear for her. I finally had to demand she be released because I think they would have kept her there indefinitely. She kept trying to escape, which I don’t blame her at all. My mom suffered immensely because she was placed incorrectly. Once we finally got mom out and found another place for her to live (the Lantern in Franklin which was horrible), they neglected to send one of my mom’s most-needed medications to her so she went without them for two weeks. My advice to anyone choosing to place a parent dealing with dementia of any kind is to put them directly into memory care if you can. Assisted Living was a devastating mistake for us. My mom recently passed away, 10 months after her initial admission to Morning Pointe Spring Hill, and it absolutely grieves me to think of what her first 2 months leaving her home was like because of one wrong decision.

  3. Recently we had to make some very important decisions about caring for our mother. We did some research and settled on Morning Pointe in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Decisions like this are challenging as you want the best for your loved one. After a few months of being involved with Morning Pointe, I can honestly say I don’t believe we could have found a better place for her. The staff are nothing short of amazing as they have not only assisted our mom with her transition into the community that exists there but they have been a true blessing to our family. I would name specific staff members but honestly I would leave someone out and they are all outstanding. They have a challenging job as they work with the residents each day and yet they exemplify what everyone should want for their family members. We are grateful for the care our mother is receiving and so appreciate the people who make Morning Pointe such a wonderfully place
