Navion of Goldsboro is an Assisted Living community that is here to meet your every need in a place that will feel like home.
The community at Navion has been taking care of grandma, and we couldn’t be more pleased with their patience and communication. Grandma was very apprehensive (to put it mildly) about having a new lifestyle routine, but they have made her transition successful and she has even been having some modest health improvements while there — probably just because of having a steady routine and having folks make sure that she isn’t missing her medication. We visit regularly and are always impressed by the upkeep of the facility.
We have had my grandma here since July 2024 and the transformation has been amazing! She was not excited about moving into assisted living but the entire staff has been so welcoming, patient, and kind. They truly know and care about all of the people living there, and have created a supportive community. My grandma has even been recruiting other people to move in with her and telling them “it’s not so bad” (the biggest compliment for her!).
We recently moved my dad to Navion and couldn’t be more pleased! As is often the case when considering assisted living, there were a lot of emotions and hesitancy about the move, but the excellent staff supported us throughout the entire process. My dad loves it there and our family is thrilled and quite comforted to know he is being cared for at a place which now feels like home!
I have been here for two years. The facilities are perfect! The staff is excellent to me. The menu has too much fried food. I am able to get sandwiches instead. The kitchen staff is good to bring me food I can eat. The shuttle bus to appointments get me there on time and pick me up as soon as possible. My room is clean and laundry done weekly. The daily exercise and trivia is good. Weekly prayer and singing from a local church is great and look forward to them coming! Many activities are offered daily to residents. The council meetings has given the opportunity to discuss any needs for improvement. I have many friends here.
This place is ridiculous. I had contacted the executive director to come volunteer and we set something up but the only day I could come she wouldn’t be there. She told me the sales director would be there so it would be fine for me to come. First, I come in and none of the people were expecting me. Then, they can’t find the sales director. I waste 45 minutes of my time sitting and waiting for her to show up and she doesn’t come. So now, instead of getting my volunteer hours for NHS like I needed I have to go somewhere else because they couldn’t even reach her phone. Not only that, but the nurses were incredibly rude and while I was waiting, they were gossiping and complaining about the residents. Get your business together.
