I cannot thank John enough for taking the time to speak with me about my parents. He was incredibly helpful in determining what level of care we need moving forward and what our options are.
While I only had my one visit, the facility was very clean, several staff members I talked with were kind and welcoming and there were several residents around, all of whom looked happy and spoke highly of the facility.
My dad moved to Carolina Reserve about 4 months ago. It is an extremely convenient location. Overall he is doing great and is thriving compared to how he was doing at home. He enjoys the meals that Darry prepares and sitting on the porch. Management (John and Brittany) are great and are responsive when I have questions/concerns. My dad likes his caregivers and says that take good care of him. Jada the med tech is always kind and helpful when I see her. Brandon the Bayada Physical therapist has helped my dad tremendously. I would recommend checking out Carolina Reserve if you are looking for an assistive living facility for your loved one.
I had a pleasant visit with one of my family members. She’s adjusted well to her new place. It’s clean and the staff is nice.
My wife’s dad recently moved to the Carolina Reserve from independent living. We like the convenient location near Southpoint. My father-in-law has made many friends and loves being part of the community. Some of his favorite activities are bingo, jeopardy, the cooking classes and the spa. The facility is clean and the staff is great, especially Rebecca. She is very responsive and communicative with my wife. Picture below from red carpet fashion show event.
I was impressed by “Carolina Reserve of Durham, but
before a week was done, and I left town and they called me to tell me that they had moved my Mom to lock down/a psych ward. I begged them to give her second chance but ,they had already placed Mom with a totally wrong roommate. I begged for a different roommate for a couple of weeks, but they never acknowledged. Bottom line, I had to remove my Mom from the Institution, and place her somewhere else. 😤
