Pipes always bursting, floods, drugs, bad bully tenants, Manager Does nothing to stop the tenants from threatening each other and fighting, can’t use the community toilets they are always locked, roaches, now mice, 1 bedroom apartment is now $2300 a month, the rooms are so small it’s not worth it. Filthy place.
Residents deserve working elevators. Especially those that are physically disabled. In my opinion, this issue violates the Americans with Disabilities Act!
As per the article in Newsday pipes are bursting and there are mold problems. Many of these residents have health issues and are disabled. About they collect the money quicker than they fix these problems.
We are here to apply for an apartment and the stack of paperwork is appalling. We submitted everything but when we sit down with them, they are still sorting through paperwork as if they have never even looked at the paper we submitted. She could not even do the maths right even with the calculator. Very unorganized and things are very slow here. During our appointment, some resident knocked at the door but they totally ignored him. Another potential resident showed up but the MGMT totally forgot about the appointment. The interior is a little old and looks like a hospital. The MGMT has no idea how the internet works and you have to purchase internet and tv through them. No Verizon fios.
UPDATE: This lady had all whole month to collect information they needed from us, but every time we provided her with something, she said she needed some other information. Why the hell did you not tell me earlier?! Now, we already put in the last day for the current apartment, have most of stuff packed. She called and said that she needed more information in order to approve us just one week prior to the move. The information she requires is some government paperwork that takes at least a few weeks to get. I am homeless! They totally screwed me over.
