So impressed with my tour. Beautiful n clean facility. Staff was very welcoming n friendly. It felt like a very caring family that made me feel right at home.
Thanks.
I took a tour with Denise and this place was so well put together! The remodeling was very pretty, the court yards looked nice, the floors were clean, their laundry room was spacious, their dining room had so much natural light! Overall, it looked like a lovely place to be!
I’ve recently moved my mother into Plum Creek! She took a fall and is unable to live alone! Heather and Denise made the transition from Rehab facility to Plum Creek smooth.
Had two previous encounters with grandparents living there. So thought it would be a great place to move my mother. Boy, was I wrong.
1. From the assessment level to moving in the skill was moved. At the point of moving in my mother was able to do basic functions only had limited mobility requiring a wheelchair. Was suppose to be working with PT but really never was on a regular basis.
2. When med aids would bring meds would ask to ensure what was being administered. Many times told I don’t know. Or , the med aid would come and just leave the meds. Had conversations with Heather about this. Often did receive the antibiotic she needed prescribed from wound care. This was to be given following dialysis. Was a constant to ensure she received.
3. Was told conflicting stories on whether she was to go to the dining room or could eat in room. Was told we were charged for delivery of meal to the room.
4. The phones at the main desk always seemed to not work. Would call and it would just ring or would hang up. This really was not an issue until the day my mother had fallen. My mother drug herself on the floor to be able to attempt to call the desk but never worked. She ended calling my wife who called me to go over to assist. Even when arriving at the room I assisted my mother up to the bed. Personally had to go get someone to come check her out. Following this fall her condition continued to deteriorate. She ended up dying a few days later.
We moved my dad in after my mom passed. The first week was rough but all the employees were so sweet and encouraging. I absolutely love them. They are now a part of our extended family. Dads happy and loves his little apartment.
