My dad is here and we are finally happy with a community where we feel he is safe and cared for. They make all the food from scratch and take the time to learn about each resident’s condition and cater care to every need. Placing your loved one in a memory care facility is never and easy process, but I know the folks at Primrose have his back and will do everything they can to make his residency as comfortable as possible.
My mom has been in assisted living at Primrose a year now. She was the 4th resident and I would not have her anywhere else. The place she was at previously almost killed her by sheer neglect and bad food. Primrose is just the best place in town if you truly want peace for your loved one. (And yourself!) The chef is culinary school trained and it shows. He truly cares, too. No canned green beans or fruit, and no junk food hard to recognize what it even is. So much is made from scratch. Brisket, fresh foods, and fresh cookies. Chef understands how crucial good food is to the elderly. Cari is the Director of Nursing and just awesome. I’m a nurse, so I truly know how good she is, as well as Primrose overall. The caretakers are happy and loving. I’ll repeat, I would not have my mom anywhere else in Lubbock.
My grandmother has resided here and you don’t get the level of care for the exorbitant price that it costs. They can’t keep a housekeeper and her room was filthy. Her personal food was getting taken with nothing done about it. So sad.
Make sure you tell mom that a great new place primrose’s retirement community is opening up spring 2023
