I love this place! Very well maintained and beautiful. The maintenance men Omar and raymond are the greatest! Marcus and Julio in the office are the best! The rent is not expensive and more than a value! It is all in all a place that you would definitely want to choose. Beautiful views of lake Monroe and wonderful breeze! I find it very safe and friendly. I expect to live here forever!
I am editing my original review I made when I arrived. Initially I praised the process and the location but it all feels like a trap now that I look back at it.
The long and short of it is this: I have lived in 4 apartment complexes in Orlando and this is by far the worst one ever both in quality of living and price.
As various other reviewers have noted, the rent will start low but all the little fees will add up so your 1300 rent will be mid 1500s before even electricity. The wifi is a joke, using a router only capable of outputting about 30 Mbps. Want your rated speed? connect everything to an Ethernet port. For some reason the electricity bill was unusually large for me every single month. For perspective, I’m now living at my current apartment that is bigger and higher quality and pay $70 while they charged $130+.
You will not be able to get in contact with anyone over the phone. Just send a message and they will get back to you on their time. They will also do shady things like put a move out inspection date on your move out notice but never really send someone so make sure you take photos.
The place just feels so lackluster and rundown and management really do not give the impression they care after you sign on the dotted line. The only good thing that came out of here is gaining the motivation to find another apartment. I wish whoever moves here the best.
Ironically, this is another 1-star review, I’d do 0 if it would allow me. It’s the worst place I’ve ever rented from (actually, my wife rented here for a part time place while she started work in a different city prior to the rest of our family coming). Due to our situation, we had to rent site unseen.
Apartment was gross with clear water damage in the bathroom that had been horribly patched. A smoker had clearly lived there prior to that as the smell was obvious. We had mosquitoes every single night coming in through the doorway, which wasn’t fully secure. When asked about the bugs, we were told it’s because of the lake across the street. There is no way to contact the office other than texting them and waiting or putting a request in on the website then also waiting. If you call, you’ll never reach anyone. And the prices on the website mean nothing, add a couple hundred more to each month, they try to lure you in with a lower prices. We broke our lease early to find better accommodations and upon final checkout, we were charged a full $145 cleaning fee for absolutely nothing. We cleaned prior to leaving and missed some toothpaste on the bathroom counter.
The place is a joke, the management doesn’t respond and doesn’t care and that goes all the way up to the corporate side. Seems like we aren’t alone with this either…
Do not move here this place sucksssss you have fees added on you your rent every month for new things you have no clue about then you can’t pay rent using your debit card without a $45 fee who charges $45 to pay their rent I neverrrrrrrr would’ve moved here then they added wifi to your rent even if you have a different internet provider and there is no way to take it off because they want you to pay to have wifi thru the community which is dumb because I don’t care about your gym having wifi that’s a property problem not the residents this place just totally suck and the lady at the rent office that sits in the first desk just sits her fat ass there with an attitude if you complain but have such great energy when you looking to rent I’ve lived in much cheaper neighborhoods and had wayyy better experience than this this place is by far one of the worst places to live in Sanford. AVOID AT ALL COST
