Hwew visiting today 1/11/2025…My relative has been hwre about a month,nurses not up to pare..im.asuming over worked. No smiles, every one on there cell phone or engaging in conversation with each other
25 mins all waiting for assistance ,askes a nurse for help..snubbed at,ans said will tell our nurse??? Who must be invincible?? No nurse yet at 30 min in..anyway it’s clean,smelly of foods,but needs more empathy, kindness,ans English speaking,and all nurses on cell phones with programs ,music,church sermons in creo..so I’d your French fluent great place
.if your not well rounded fluent in other than English..not recommended. Still no nurse..anyway just what I have observed..hope this helps them improve there hospitality, services, and registered nurse

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the special people who took care and worked with my husband Gary during the time he was at Abbey Delray South. It was very difficult, but the caring staff made it easier for me to deal with the everyday situations. Thank you to Mr.Thelemaque, the administrator for the professionalism and compassion that he instills in his staff.
My friend was recently an inpatient at Abbey South on Cypress. The nurses and aides overall give good care and are attentive. The receptionist was very helpful with appointments and helping to set transportation up. They could work on the food and activities. Good stay overall.
SHAME on you Abbey South! You lower the beds so the neglected patients don’t hurt themselves when they fall out. The doors are shut and the patients are left in their own feces! Calls for “help me” can be heard behind closed doors. What is wrong with you? Seriously! These are fragile people most in need of care! This nightmare makes the other things like wrong and missed meds, missed meals and lies about PT minor. There are some pretty crappy places out there but this one is a special hell hole.

Thank you for your response. There is no need to contact me, but it would do my heart good to know that you were checking in on patients that are not being taken care of. Literally heartbreaking to hear peoples calls for help being ignored. We removed my father in law within 48 hours. He was so grateful. Abbey is not alone in its neglect, sadly there are others. But ask yourself, would I leave someone I love hungry and covered in feces? Seriously, because that is what happened here. Many of these seniors have nobody checking in on them. Like children they are completely dependent on loving people to treat them with the dignity they deserve. I really hope and pray changes are made.
