We just moved my mother from one private residence to River Road. The transition to River Road has been amazing! Jan was our first point of contact and has stayed with us as we get to know the processes and learn to navigate the system to best serve our mother. She is a strong communicator, gets things done quickly, and is a tremendous advocate for the residents and their families. We were so impressed that within just a few days staff were addressing my mother by name. There is a feeling of caring and warmth that exudes from all staff that you have to see firsthand to believe. Our family can finally relax with the knowledge that our mother is well cared for, and be confidant that if she has difficulty we will be informed. It is the little things that we are witnessing that make this residence so impressive. Whether it’s a PSW straightening a resident’s shirt in the elevator with a smile, or a few kind words and the holding of a hand as they are passing by. It is definitely the home with heart! We are so appreciative. 🙂
