Selah Living is a full service concierge nursing resource that specializes in IV hydration, elder, maternity, postpartum, and post-surgical care, providing personal nursing needs while you remain in the comfort of your home.
Selah Living is the husband and wife team of James and Christy Richard, both registered nurses with extensive experience in various nursing fields including trauma, hospice care, and maternity.
My Dad checked into Selah in April, 2021. He was 100 years old and could no longer live by himself. Dad always said he wanted to remain in his home forever and Selah came as close to that as possible. He was able to get around the home with the help of his walker. He also was able to spend time in the kitchen enjoying his coffee and go outside either in the front driveway or rear patio to sit in the warm sun. All the things he did at home. The personnel at Selah were just great. The owners, James and Christy, were always available and most helpful. Both were former Hospice RN’s and well versed in the care of the elderly. Michael, the manager at Selah, was another gem as well as all the other employees. Michael was there most days and he, as well as James, got along with my Dad so well. There were jokes, laughter and general banter that my Dad totally enjoyed. The facility was extremely clean and welcoming. So many times Dad told me that “This is a really nice place and I really like the people here”. Dad passed away January, 2022 at 101. For his final year of life this was a great place. My Dad would have been lost at a larger facility. An added bonus was that Janes went out of his way to always keep us in the loop as to what was going on. It was very comforting to be able to text him about anything I was concerned about and get an immediate response. The outside care of loved ones is a very stressful experience. Selah made this transition as easy as possible and we have no regrets with our choice.
Selah Living has been a godsend for my mother and I. The owners and staff are knowledgeable in all aspects of palliative care, not only that… they are good people who actually care about the whole person. Placing a loved one in someone’s care is always a difficult decision, but with Selah Living, I know it was the right decision. They were able to provide the care my mother needed, but also, and perhaps just as important, they loved her like family. I am forever grateful for their care and support.
This place is highly recommended. My Grandmother was very well treated and we never had to worry about her. The cared and treated her with the most kind attitude. We never worried about her wellbeing or If she was being mistreated. We would 100% recommend this facility to anyone. They are very kind and caring.
5 stars is not enough for everything that went into the care that my Mother received at the Selah Beach House ALF. James and Christy the owners are both RN’s and their standards for the Beach House, their staff and the other professionals that were involved are at the highest standard. The care is personal, compassionate, and consistent. Moving our Mom to the Beach House was the best thing we did and it truly became her home. Frankly, going to the Beach House to see Mom has been a big part of my life for the last couple of years and I will miss everybody their. Thank you to everyone!
