My experience at Sun Valley was very pleasant. Most of the employees there are from another breed. They must have something inside there soul. So caring & thoughtful. The people in the therapy dept. are professionals. They help make the exercises fun. The nurses were great! The facility at Sun Valley has people w/specialties in all departments. I am great full to everyone. Thank You!
Sun Valley Rehab has been a good experience all around! The entire Rehab Team was so helpful. I’d like to give therapists an A+ rating. So patient and knowledgeable. A shout out especially to “Alicia” who was totally amazing in helping me to progress nicely.
The staff was exceptional. And the food was tasty. I was amazed with the changing menus, as well. The cleanliness of the facility was top notch with housekeeping coming , sometimes twice a day. Trash was always emptied promptly. All in all, after being at Sun Valley for 7 weeks, I can only say, I’m happy to be in a position now to go home but hard to say goodbye to this friendly new family. !

My Mother is in the Sun Valley memory Unit, I cannot say enough about the staff. They not only have a passion for the residents, but are always having fun events and crafts.

I had my Dad here. Well to start off I think it’s okay. I just had some issues with certain things. Billing wise it was a bit everywhere. Employee wise I’m a healthcare worker and some people were really unprofessional. They would cuss not knowing I was visiting my Dad and it was just out of control. On discharge because my Dad was aggressive and had to leave the person who discharged him was nice but cussed up a storm so to me it was unprofessional. I’m new to this process and since my dad again was aggressive I was told I had to pick him up or file an appeal 30 day notice but if I did that no nursing home would accept him but either way no appeal or not no nursing home is accepting him and he does require full time care. The facility and some nurses do go above and beyond but I can’t say the same for all of them. I have other issues as well, but this is the main thing. I think overall it’s a good facility but they do have some faults as well.
