Great community! Caring staff, and residents! Activities galore! Physical exercise, pool, recreation, planned day trips, worship services, music concerts. There is Independent Living, Assistive Living, Health Care, and Memory Care.
Great place to retire!
I have been here almost two years and am the most grouchy resident you will find. I don’t like spicy 🌶 food, the kitchen does. I didn’t like the lasagna and said so, it improved. Ask for a dryer that dries clothes. Mine takes one sheet at a time and multiple tries involving all day. I’m going to make a rack from pipe and put it on the porch.
I know I’m a pain, but I’m old and tired. Maybe my disposition will improve when my vertigo gets under control. And I get a dryer that works drying.
When I get things straightened out, this will be a great place
After evaluating at least 10 Continuing Care Communities, it was obvious that Taylor Glen was the best choice for us, and we have never second guessed our decision. We enjoy the friendliness of the residents and the staff who have become like family to us. They gave us exceptional care and support when we had a medical emergency occur. In times of health crises, it is comforting to know that we have access to a nurse 24 hours a day, all levels of care needed under one roof, and an exceptionally good therapy department on site.
During the pandemic lock down, it was especially comforting to be able to enjoy the beautiful grounds and walking trails when there were so few things to do.
The dining staff go out of their way to make meals a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The activities calendar is filled with more fun and intellectually stimulating activities than a person can imagine.
After being at Taylor Glen for 18 months, we would not hesitate to recommend this community to others considering this type of living arrangement.

I have lived here for a few months and I am impressed with the kind/ professional staff, variety of activities, and tremendous food! The residents are extremely friendly and helpful. There are NO GROUCHES HERE!! Situated on 100 acres, the facility has a fishing pond, walking trails, and beautiful wildlife. I highly recommend Taylors Glen for meeting good friends, being energetic (love the indoor pool), learning opportunities, and happy life style.
