The Landings of Cabarrus is an assisted living community nestled in the heart of Kannapolis, North Carolina, just north of Charlotte. We provide the highest quality of care in a beautiful setting with state-of-the-art amenities.
I am absolutely in awe of everyone in this community! They are the kindest staff, clean buildings, and they love all the residents! I am so grateful for Mariah and the entire Landings of Cabarrus team for taking such great care of my grandmother!
You have to ring doorbell to get in and out. When trying to leave I can NEVER find anyone until I go looking and then I find them all ( like 4-5 workers) in the residents movie theater on their phones. Just ignoring the bell…. Until I say can someone please let me out. This has happened numerous times.
Also some of the staff are not friendly at all. Snappy and just unfriendly. I am told my my resident they are not kind to them either.
I would not recommend my love one to live here.
Outside and inside looks beautiful to the eye.
Coming from somebody who use to work there runnnnnnnnn!!!! They are some of the laziest rudest individuals who work there !!! Your family is definitely not in great hands or care everything done in that facility is an act!!! Most of the employees are huddled up smoking and or drinking on clock!!! Management is absolutely never in the building and if they are their out the door we’ll before 5 most of them anyway !! They don’t answer their phones trying to avoid having to come into work to assist with any problems !!! Residents are falling constantly and declining constantly because you have staff who comes to work and goes straight to sleep ! Med techs refusing to service residents because they are getting on their nerves !! Med techs cussing out residents and family members for asking simple questions !!! Management picking and choosing who they want to discipline because they politic drink and hang out with employees outside the building ! It’s a mess they are short staffed (3 people in a full facility should never be acceptable)because they can’t keep anybody in the building for these reasons alone and they get rid of all their good employees to keep the ones who are never doing their job!! Cameras don’t work or they pick and choose when to cut them on because Management never knows what’s going on unless they go ask other employees who can literally say anything and they run with it ! Place full of employees who just want a check !! Management dose not care as long as they can keep getting them bonuses etc they’ll keep filling those beds with no real care for your family member!!
The most negligent facility I have ever seen. Staff and Management are not friendly nor helpful when it comes to your loved ones in their facility. The rooms are filthy and they will not keep the residents with the supplies that are paid for and needed, such as toilet paper, and the briefs family have had delivered. They are never on the same page with hospice and let’s your loved ones suffer with out meds that are needed for comfort care.
Horrible professional and administrative practices. I recently tried to get my loved one into the Landings of Cabarrus. I had several discussions with Mariah the executive director. They were very pleasant conversations and I noted that I was urgently seeking to get my loved one into their memory care unit.
Mariah mentioned there was space available and once all paperwork was received we could continue the process. 24 hours later Mariah and the Landings had all paperwork necessary but all communication stopped. No one answered my calls. No return phone calls. No follow up to my several voicemails.
A family friend mentioned they had a similar experience a few months ago.
Unfortunately I’m not able to leave a review about the conditions of this place because my loved one was never given a chance to enter despite meeting all stated criteria for this facility. The behavior screams discriminatory practices and makes me question how they treat their patients.
