A family member was in this facility! She did not have dementia but most of the patients did. The food looked and tasted horrible. She did not have anyone check on her all day until the evening. She developed UTI’s several times and needed to go to the hospital because she was not being changed enough. There were times she wouldn’t get bathed for a week or two. I came every week so I actually seen this. She got so depressed and her family finally moved her.
Wanted to say thank you to the staff, as I watched without the staff knowing I saw true caring from all the workers, standing off to the side I realized these ppl really practice what they preach. The patience and love was refreshing. I don’t want to leave out anyone but since I talk mostly with Naomi, Kim and Valerie, I want to say how awesome they treated me every single time on phone and in person. Mom passed comfy in bed March 28th. She was a resident for 4years and was….let’s just say, a handful. Yet, was treated with dignity and respect. Dad has been there about a year and a half, and I have no reservations about leaving him in the capable hands of all staff. One final note: I never met Brandon, one of the staff but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the amount of times mom talked lovingly about him. (Maybe a bit of a crush) Lol. Be assured your family member will be greatly taken care of. Clay Waegerle
So many bugs and nasty food and Kim is a rude and not a good person
