Our nursing, therapy and interdisciplinary care team members have extensive and diverse clinical expertise that meet the wide range of chronic and acute conditions of individuals who are not quite ready to return safely home following a planned medical intervention or unexpected medical complication. Our team is equally focused on meeting the long-term holistic needs of those who choose to make our facility their permanent residence. We accept admissions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, complemented by around the clock nursing care and daily specialized rehabilitation services.
Our facility is committed to providing quality and compassionate nursing and rehabilitation services in a safe, comfortable environment. We strive to make your “home away from home”, whether a short or long-term need, a satisfying healing experience.
I think out of all my mom’s rehab stays this by far is one of the best places she has been to. She even smiled and gave me a big hug when I last came, and she has never done that. Whatever they’re doing for her I appreciate! Go Duncanville Healthcare!
Duncanville Health & ReHab Center is not at all what I expected. Previous residents n rehab patients spoke highly but my family member rehab and nursing stay turned from a smile to a nightmare. Broken ribs and fractured shoulder laying on the floor for hours yelling for help after falling out of the bed. Night shift staff finally came and refused to send him to the ER nor
acknowledged the patient wish to goto the ER. I had to text the director the following day while he was out of the country on vacation to get my family member to the ER. Wise words please make sure your loved one is being taking care of on all
Shifts. Day Shift is awesome but that night shift is lazy, unprofessional, on their cellphones at night, hanging outside the facility and not at all attentive to their patients during the night shift. I think it’s ridiculous that employees are there as if it’s a night club. And they don’t answer the phones at all on night shift. Horrific experience. Director and office staff were outstanding and the CNAs on day shift did their jobs very well. I wish things had been different and the food was horrible I saw sandwiches daily as a meal for my family member he started doing door dash for dinner. Rmbr what goes around comes around be careful how you treat people.
As a healthcare Chaplain 15 years now; I am happy to see the Activity Director and residents enjoys Events. The facility is well lit, clean and spacious for the residents and families.
Place smells like urine.
