This 5 star rating is for the Physical Therapy department. They were awesome! So kind, positive, and caring. I went from not walking due to leg weakness, to walking with the assistance of a walker in no time. Jeanette and Pious were so helpful on my journey back to being healthy again.

My mom stayed there and said the people were friendly but the food was horrible
I see my review has been deleted. They would have ZERO STARS. Just beware, this place was the worst. I went there for rehab after knee replacement. I became sick after the staff came in my room after leaving the room of c-diff patient. I had no clue what was going on, contracted what I later found out was c-diff. They did not bother to tell me and my husband was bringing me in Imodium. I was left in my bed of diarreah, vomiting non stop and they kept bringing me regular food trays. The RN was keeping half my dose of pain meds. I finally called 911 for help. The police, fire department and paramedics took me to the hospital. ALL 1st responders commented the place has a bad reputation. I was so sick the hospital told my husband another 24 hours at that place could have killed me. The RN threatened me that I was leaving AMA. The paramedics had me out of there so fast. Imagine having a bed full of diarreah, vomiting, and no help. Trying to keep my leg with a 12 inch incision out of diarreah was not easy. My husband was the one to clean me up and HE contracted CDiff. This place traumatized me and to think they got away with what they do and still in business breaks my heart for unsuspecting patients.
Do not leave anyone you love here. They need to be caught, fined and closed.
My mom was admitted to this facility for physical rehabilitation after 2 weeks in the hospital for an emergency gallbladder removal and broken knee. She arrived at The Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center able to get herself up and down and around the room with minimal or no assistance from care providers when using basic medical equipment, like a walker and a raised toilet seat. Her primary issues, and reasons for needing rehabilitation, were generally low stamina and weakness from her hospital stay and limited range of motion awkwardness related to her knee immobilizing brace. So basically, she just needed help mastering how to move safely and efficiently with the brace on and she needed to help gaining some strength and stamina. The nursing home did not provide her with a walker, raised toilet seat, or a wheel chair able to hold her leg straight for more than 2 days… and we basically had to throw a fit for her to get those items. My mom cannot get up and about without those devices, so for those few days she was forced to use a diaper. Then she was forced to sit in her messes for more than 2 hours each day! Additionally, the food was so terrible that she couldn’t stand to eat more than a few bites each day. In 4 days she only got 45 minutes of rehabilitation, she lost more weight and strength and stamina, she gained painful sores from sitting in dirty diapers. We got her out of there as fast as we could but I’m sorrowful she had to endure those few days. The nursing home wanted her to stay in theIt care for 21 days! I can’t imagine what that would have done to her! 4 days were very detrimental to her dignity and physical and emotional health. We set up home healthcare and physical therapy at home and she is doing great now. She’s back to living mostly independently and she’s getting stronger everyday.
