WhiteSands Treatment Center offers comprehensive care for drug and alcohol addiction, utilizing a wide range of treatment programs to meet individual patient needs.
Every experience is what you make of it. With that being said, the entire staff, techs, therapists, counselors, and case managers were always there to help me with anything that I needed. They made me feel safe, heard, and an all around sense of being cared for.
UPDATE- 2/20/2025 They lost multiple personal items that were in their storage. Shannon and I were in contact multiple times, she then had a “driver” contact me and blatently lie saying they checked the cameras. Shannon has pictures of all my items in storage on her cell phone which I saw while at the facility (I was afraid something like this would happen) and upon asking for the pictures she blocked me! I am besides myself as these items are of necessity, they teach an honest program but are behaving this way. Very Disapointed on how they are handeling this.
Ican’t say enough about White Sands. Angel, my case worker, is amazing and made me feel comfortable wile providing opportunities when I thought I had none. Zach, Shannon and all the staff, including the kitchen staff, were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this facility for those struggling with substance abuse .
White Sands was the second treatment center I have been to and I am SO thankful that I chose them. I cannot say enough amazing things about them. The staff is kind and caring, the facility is clean and well maintained, they allow you to have your phone for the evening if you go to all of your classes. They run evening activities like BINGO, spades tournaments, or will have sports on the big screen with ordered in food in the common area. The food is pretty good, and they also have extra amenities like a pool, a chiropractor, a gym, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, and even boxing! PLEASE, I ENCOURAGE ALL TO GO TO COACH RAY’S BOXING. It is an amazing workout and extremely cathartic. Coach Ray is an absolute legend and he is so supportive. He truly cares about each and every one of us in the program. Everyone at that facility wants us to recover. The teachers, doctors, nurses, etc are all fantastic. Going to White Sands has been hands down the best decision I ever made for myself and I will be forever grateful to them. I’m over 100 days now and counting, one day at a time!!
White Sands was amazing in so many ways. The staff is beyond helpful, the BHTs are friendly, counselors are knowledgeable and were instrumental in helping me overcome my problems with alcohol. My case manager Xaviar made sure I had a solid discharge plan and made sure to check in with me daily to ensure I was receiving the help I needed and a sober living house to return home to safely. He is amazing!!! Thank you white sands and thank you Xaviar for everything 🙏🙏
I would highly recommend White Sands for anyone that is struggling with addiction. From the moment I came in I was greeted with empathy & understanding for my individual needs. The staff here is amazing, from the therapists, to addiction specialists, nursing staff & chiropractor. They make you feel at home & make the process easy. I’d like to thank my case manager (Angel) for helping me every step of the way, answering any questions I had, walking me through the process from start to finish, checking on me everyday throughout my stay. Also Setting up aftercare. I will be forever greatful for this life-changing experience.
