Welcome to Integra Lakes – your premier destination for luxury apartment living in Casselberry, FL.
Kind of a bait and switch at first gland. The fees are
ASTRONOMICAL. Not anywhere in line with other buildings of the same type.
I toured twelve other “luxury” aparment complexes in Orlando before finding this one. It’s by far the least ridiculous but not without it’s drawbacks.
Upsides: It’s a pretty, well maintained complex within walking distance of several lakes, parks (one of which has free, monthly events), the rec center, 2 art houses, and multiple shopping plazas. Our apartment is clean and nothing is falling apart. The views from our windows are gorgeous. The gym is open 24/7, never crowded, and always tidy. The elevator made it easy to get all of our furniture up to 4th floor when we moved in.
Downsides: You can’t use the pool after sunset. They charge monthly for valet trash regardless of whether you use it or if the company even shows up. They’ve started to charge for parking, you can’t back-in park, and you have a limited number of guest permits available to you each month. They’ve installed automatic locks on all of the doors so you can never leave your apartment unlocked, even if you’re just stepping out for a second. You have to install a dumb app on your phone to change the code. You also need a seperate key fob to access every building which is nice for security but a pain in the butt when you’re carrying groceries. There only seems to be 2 employees who work in the office and they’re not always around when you need them. The number on this complex’s google blurb leads to people who don’t actually work here and won’t be able to answer any of your questions. The printer in the office hasn’t worked in months and they don’t seem to be interested in fixing it. There are a LOT of dogs here and even though there are poop bags scattered around the neighborhood, some people still refuse to pick up after their own pets. There’s poop in the grass, on the sidewalks, and sometimes in the stairwell.
This place is nice. There’s no denying that. I’m happy. But I do still have complaints. They may be small, but for $2000/month (and I suspect they’ll be raising the rent next year), I shouldn’t have any complaints at all.
I have to give a HUGE shout out to 2 of my favorite people who work here!! One of them is Andy, the leasing agent who is by far one of the kindest, humble and most hardworking employee on the property. He is extremely professional, always takes the time out of his day to talk to you. Never in a rush like other people. He truly cares about each resident. Anytime I have had a problem in my building or in general – he thoroughly helps me until the issue is fully resolved. This man deserves the proper recognition of his hard work in Integra. If you plan on leasing here, MAKE SURE to ASK for him!! My second acknowledgement goes to Chad my FAVORITE maintenance man!! He’s all around the best person to be around, fixed all my issues in a timely manner; always with a smile on his face! Chad does EXCELLENT work on the property. He’s so friendly and I’m always able to stop and chitchat with him every now and again. These two men are the face of Integra without a doubt!! Thank you both so very much for your loyal dedication, diligence and most importantly – your amazing hearts!! You are more than appreciated for all that you do!!!
Update: I appreciate that the office team listens, offers as much information as possible, and is as transparent as possible. Maintenance lost a legend but gained a phenomenal new manager, Dominic. The water/sewage in Casselberry is atrocious and there are no water filtering systems installed here to deal with it. Management does everything he can, but his hands are often tied by Greystar pressure and policies.
Integra Lakes is under new management; Greystar has been scooping up properties all over central Florida. We’ll see how things shake out.
