Very efficient non-profit where I feel like my donation goes further, as the number of staff to volunteers is low.
I can also see on sites like Charity Navigator that a large %age of donations goes to food and programming and a smaller portion goes to operations (which is important and very necessary too!)
As someone who needed food assistance years ago, our family feels happy even being able to donate now to help others who need that same assistance now. Keep it up!
My family and I have driven out to this food bank 3 days in a row now. Everytime they have been closed. Thursday my fiance stood in front of the food pantry in the rain while the volunteers ignored her and a man on crutches. Unprofessional, rude. Over all useless. If they aim to end hunger maybe aim to be open or responsive to your clients. Will not be returning. Do not recommend to anyone that is on hard times because you will waste your gas and time.
