My mother is currently here. I live in MD and she lives in FL. She was in the hospital for a week and I had to choose a rehab for her, site unseen. Based on reviews about patient care and staff, I chose Easy Bay. We are both really happy with the choice. Of course she would rather be home, but that’s another story! I came down to visit while she is there. From the moment you walk in, the place smells clean. I have been to other rehabs that just do not smell good. All of the staff we encountered have been so nice and helpful. They have a really pretty courtyard outside, that we walked to every day I was there. There are shady areas and areas in the sun if you prefer that. Lots of pretty FL plants to look at. I really liked sitting out there with my mom. If you are looking into rehabs and want to make sure you choose one that is clean and has a great staff, you can feel comfortable choosing East Bay. If she ever ends up having to go back to a rehab, this is where she will go.
SINCE POSTING THIS REWIEW, MY MOTHER HAS DIED. All FROM NEGLECT, INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT.

THIS FACILITY IS AWFUL, DO NOT PUT YOUR RELATIVES IN THIS PLACE , UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO DIE QUICKER. MY MOTHER WAS JUST ADMITTED INTO LARGO MED FOR NEGELECT. LOW BLOOD PRESSURE FROM BEING OVERMEDICATED, UTI, OFF THE CHART SUGER LEVELS, DEHYDRATION, BED SORES, COMPROMISED OXYGEN LEVELS.. THEY TELL YOU ONE THING, BUT THERE ACTUALLY NOT DOING IT. FOOD IS DISGUSTING
I am so happy that we were able to find a bed for my mother and move her to this location as the place that she was in for over 4 years was just getting worse and worse, worse care, dirtier etc.and it was in evacuation zone which was absolutely horrible to have her in all those residents move twice for the two hurricanes this year.

I would recommend this to anyone that needs help. All the therapists were excellent. And made me do things that I hadn’t done before, and very nice about it.
