Doctor is very helpful and attentive and gives advices how to feel better with different difficult circumstances.I really appreciate it.In addition, the doctor helps me improve my mental health and it gives me certain skills on how to behave properly among society.Thank you so much to the doctor for helping me so much.
I started using Compass as my mental health system in 2024. I have been nothing but disappointed. They’ve made appointments for me without consulting me. Sometimes no one shows up for the appointments. I cant remember ever speaking to my main doctor, Joel Dey MD. Only his assistant or another doctor subbing for Dr. Dey. They’ve recently sent me a bill, for a service I never received. I have tried to contact the billing department at least three times. Left three voicemails, because no one ever picks up at that department. And still haven’t received a response or call back, so that this issue can be resolved.
This past year with Compass has been disappointing, stressful, unprofessional, appalling, and just plain WRONG. You would think a Mental Health System would actually CARE about their patient’s mental health. But obviously not. Not with the way they do business. I wrote this review to help prevent anyone else, in need of mental health assistance, from the experience that I had with Compass. FIND ANOTHER PRACTICE. I did.
Very attentive and helpful. I was going through postpartum depression and they listen to me and helped me back to my old self. I thought I’ll never see myself again. Thank you so much. I truly appreciate it.
Customer service staff would not allow me to make an appointment. Staff claimed that I would need a referral although prior to calling, I confirmed that I did not need a referral. Staff is in need of training. Someone’s health should not be taken lightly. I am disappointed that the staff member gave me the wrong information. I take this as a sign to not utilize this provider. No one should be allowed to interact with clients if they are not well versed on current policies and procedures. And, yes, I called my insurance company after the phone call. I do not need a referral.
This place made me wanna kill myself more than I did when I came in. I had one good experience here and it was a student who did my intake. She was a very sweet Indian girl and she was the one good thing about this place. I had a Russian male psychiatrist when I requested a female. He was so unbelievably impersonal, unwelcoming and harsh. He made me not want to talk to him whatsoever and also carried heavy judgement in his voice to some of my answers to his questions. He immediately just wanted to put me on Prozac without actually listening to what I was trying to describe. I then had an appointment with a therapist, and older woman. I was trying to explain that Ive been struggling with executive dysfunction and she basically said to just get over it because she has three degrees it’s not that hard. Great therapist advice. Everyone I know who deals with compass health hates it.
