I can not say enough good things about Family Home Care. Gabriella, Shawnta, the entire caregivers staff, especially Rose and Althea are exemplary in their kindness, ethics and attention to detail. They took wonderful care of my father-in-law for several weeks until he passed. They were super helpful and compassionate and took excellent care of him. It is not easy to find people you feel so completely comfortable with being in your home but it was easy with these lovely caregivers. I would highly recommend these folks for caring for your loved ones.
Jarod reached out to me on last week in regards to application asking me a thousand questions getting all into my business I asked him what were all the docmenents I needed to start working for his company he stated he informed I told him I don’t have a tb test that’s recent but can get on of necessary he stated that I may not need it and that he will have to check with someone to see and call me back so I texted him because I didn’t hest anything back he responded saying I will need a tb text per AHCA so I’m like saying to myself how long has he been in business and he knew that from the conversation we had when I told him I didn’t have one like why call me offer me a case and get all in my business and be noisey and not hire me that’s like stupid to do when you you already knew what I had and didn’t have smh….I’m leaving thus revere because my time was wasted and not only that I gave a completet stranger info about me. And I dint know what he will try to do….Beware of this company they hire who they want and is vert noisey will ask you all of your business and not hire you!!!!
We initially engaged Family Home Care to provide medication and shower assistance to our Dad. My sister and I were looking to partner with a service to help us provide for our Dad’s needs and to truly care for him. We wanted to find a team who shared our goals for his care, both working and communicating with us. From our first call, Shawnta was able to schedule the services we needed around Dad’s schedule.
Having the meds/shower assistance while Dad was doing well was invaluable to us. While all 3 ladies who assisted were great, Loretta is getting a special shout-out. Loretta truly cared about Dad, personally. She connected with him every day in a positive manner, always trying to encourage him, no matter how he was feeling. She also cared about my sister and me, and she went above and beyond every day trying to assist our family. She communicated well with Dad and with us.
After returning home from a hospitalization, we quickly realized Dad needed 24 hour care. Once again, Shawnta was able to provide a caregiver who arrived in just a few hours. For the better part of 2 months, we used caregiver services for 12 – 24 hours per day. Our caregivers provided not only for Dad’s safety, but assisted with meds, showers, meals, laundry and housekeeping. During this time, we met a number of wonderful people and having this care allowed my sister and me more peace of mind during the hours we were unable to be with Dad.
