I have visited my family member here 3 times total and every time we’ve hit the call button it has taken more than 30 minutes or longer for a nurse to respond. After 45 minutes while visiting my family member the last time, and nobody responded to us using the call light so she could use the bathroom, I was incredibly upset because this was a reoccurring issue every time I’ve visited. A nurse not responding to a call light in a timely manner can be considered a violation of patient care standards, potentially constituting nursing neglect and could lead to legal repercussions, as it can put a patient’s health and safety at risk by delaying necessary medical attention; this is particularly serious in situations where a patient requires immediate assistance.
This is not all. The facility forgot to feed her dinner on one of the nights I visited and when I arrived her roommate was yelling for someone to come into the room because the nurses were not responding to the call light. It was chaos and neglect. This facility needs to be surprised evaluated. Night shift is incredibly neglectful and unprofessional every time I’ve visited. A nurse was on a personal FaceTime call while passing out medicine. This was a hippa violation. Let me emphasize, during med pass outs, the nurse was on a personal video call and that endangers patients information being exposed to someone not on their list. If you send family here, visit them daily to avoid abuse and neglect
Not very impressed! Every time I ask for up date on my father I was told I don’t know I will have to find out. Then no response. His room was not cleaned daily. Someone came into to his room to draw blood and ask how old are you Mr. Rodriguez his name Mr. Ragsdale. They gave him puraided food because of another hospital stay that he had been clear from. Had to ask for whole food and brought food to him because he would not eat. He said I don’t know what it is.
After trying 3 different Physical Therapy here in SCC, I went to Plaza West as an out patient. I chose these folks because both my lady friend and her sister rehabed here. I saw first hand their operation and when I needed PT I spoke with Amy. My PT Dan is the best ever, I had a PT up North for years that I went to and never could duplicate her here. Dan is a PT not an assistant as many in SCC are. I highly recommend Plaza West, it’s one on one, not a PT caring for a number of patients. Be smart and go here, you will be happy you did. PS, Jamie is also excellent Congrats and in the future I know they have my back. That’s literally!!!!
The best place to go if you need rehab.The staff every place in plaza west is amazing.so kind,caring and go out of their way to help you.So clean and friedly.The food is great!!ALL THE Nurses and all staff members could not have treated.me any better than they did
.In rehab you will Love what they do.Really know what they are doing.SERIOUSLY,you will feel like your one.of their family.I cannot say enough great things about PLAZA WEST.
Best rehab facility in Sun City area. The staff, therapists, and caregivers were professional, responsive, and kind. They treated my husband with respect and compassion. I have nothing but praise for them.
