BEWARE. Called Massy to come and look at my yard. I have been using them for over 6 years. The manager came out and wanted to argue how everyone in the neighborhood is blaming Massey for their terrible looking lawns. I ASKED HIM TO LEAVE HE WAS SO RUDE! All my neighbors are switching companies. Look what they did to my lawn. The burn in my yard in the first picture has been like that for over a year. I’ve done everything they suggested. I would like to hear from a DISTRICT MANAGER.
Had an appointment Wednesday, September 25th from 11am-1pm, they never showed up or called. Storm hit Thursday the 27th, so I called them Friday, September 27th and talked to Ann. I explained my No Show appointment and she said she personally called me and left a message to reschedule later that afternoon. I explained to Ann that she never left me a message and probably called the wrong phone number. She then got an attitude. I asked her to reschedule me on Tuesday October 1st from 11am – 1pm. After a No Show on Thursday. I immediately called Massey and asked why the tech didn’t show again. A different lady explained my appointment wasn’t until 1pm-3pm. I knew right then Ann messed up my appointment on purpose. I can’t have those times because that’s when I pick up my son from school. I immediately asked to talk to a manager.
That’s when Jeff got on the phone. I explained the situation and felt Ann did it out of Spite! That’s when Jeff made a 3rd appointment for Wednesday October 3rd. I had to now take off 3 half days from my job because of Massey incompetence! I refuse to ever deal with Ann and I’m sure I am not the only one she has done this too. I have heard a lot of complaints from neighbors about Massey just today. I hope someone from upper management from Massey calls me. I will share.
I don’t post negative comments but wanted to warn other potential customers about this particular Massey location. Contracted them for an annual service and regrettably state my lawn looks worse than it did prior to the start of their service. When discussing this with the manager there did not seem to be any true concern about this subject but seem to only be interested in collecting the additional charge that occurred beyond the contracted amount. That leads me to one other issue, I never received any formal notification that my original payment had been spent and reverted to a monthly charge which was even more expensive. Just felt I should warn individuals in case there were any considerations for this particular Massey location.

Update: I received a message 10 days ago relating to someone from Massey corporate contacting me but still have not received any additional messages. Appears the corporate group is managed similarly to the local companies. Again, be aware of Massey’s commitment to customer service!

Update: A month later and still no response from Massey Corporate. Just another warning to customers current and potentially new.
