We have helped many patients achieve outstanding results, and our staff has experience caring for people recovering from numerous conditions, including cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, and other illnesses.
At Stanford Court Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center, we employ our own therapists and operate a large, fully contained therapy unit. Our greatest success is the ability to help patients recover to a lower level of care or discharge home.
I’m really impressed with the care provided for my family at this facility. The nurses, therapy, and administration were all so accommodating and caring to the needs of my family member. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable and attentive facility to complete their rehab stay, I felt very confident in the care we received.
Maleeka the head social worker is wonderful to work with. She structures every patients needs perfectly. Facility is clean and their therapy unit is great.
My mom stayed here for months in 2024, and although she met some wonder people that were staff and a couple of roommates, overall she hated staying there.
Stanford Court is understaffed, and staff blamed the owner saying that she was trying to keep costs down, but it came at the expense of the patients. There is no way the limited staff could get to the needs of so many in a reasonable amount of time.
More than once, they didn’t respond to the call very fast and my mom had no choice but to use the bathroom in bed. Other times, they’d get her a bed pan and then not come back for over an hour. By this time the bed pan was causing tremendous pain.
There were times they’d move her in to a room with a patient with mental issues that would scream and cuss people out for no reason. Other room mates would watch TV full blast in the middle of the night.
When my mom had a great roommate, my mom refused to be moved to another room because of the horror roommates in the past. Administration was very rude to her for not moving saying “I can’t wait until you leave!”
A lot of the staff were great; they just had too much to do for so many, and they apologized. Some staff were tired of being overworked and understaffed, but if they complained, they were fired; others just quit.
The state showed up for a week for inspections at Stanford Court, and everything ran perfectly. No more long waits and everything was done right. But as soon as the state left, everything went back to usual bad care.
I could go on and on about the many issues. But the bottom line is that we do not recommend Stanford Court.
The nursing staff seemed to take good care of my mother, BUT extremely difficult to get ahold of… my beef is that the facility uses outside people for getting POA’s and Aftercare. They charge a fortune, have no idea if Stafford gets a kickback, AND PUT HUGE PRESSURE on family members to agree to the over inflated prices for home aftercare. My mom’s insurance covers her after care. The facility and their dogs did not care.
