My mom was with the Bristal for about 3 and a half years…first in Westbury and later in Lynbrook. We appreciated the way the management team handled things for her. And she was satisfied with her care.
This review is an affirmation of my appreciation and gratitude. From the moment I met with Anne Gerage and Wendy Gregg, I knew that caring and concern for others were important priorities to them. My elderly mom was in need of a safe and secure environment. The Bristal, in Lynbrook, has provided that beyond measure. No matter what day I come to visit mom, the staff has consistently shown a welcoming environment. Professionalism, respect and kindness is what comes to mind. My mom continues to navigate her new “home”, from the activities offered, to enjoying her meals in a lovely dining room and meeting new friends.
I appreciate all the support and incite given whenever i have had questions about mom’s care. All the staff, from the Wellness Center, Case management, Maintenance Department, to Housekeeping, have been gracious in wanting to help with any questions or concerns. Its a good feeling to know mom is safe and looked after. Thanks for ALL you do!

My mom, Anna Marie, continues to thrive at The Bristal, 2+ years later. She is 98 years old and under the care of professional, respectful, kind and thoughtful caretakers and staff. I always feel mom is safe and looked after. She tells me she “likes it here, its comfortable and everyone knows me!” I also continue to observe how all the caretakers and staff treat the other residents like their own. My grandma was only at the Bristal Lynbrook for a short time before she passed, but the staff here treated her so well. They were kind, caring and communicative with my family. Highly recommend.
Mom was there for just over 4 years. During her time there she was well cared for and even through the pandemic and several staff changes she received excellent care. I was fully informed whenever her situation required additional care. I can say that the staff did a fantastic job even though there was some turnover. Our family never worried about Mom as we knew she was safe, happy and cared for.
My mom lived at the Bristal in Lynbrook for 1 1/2 years. She was very happy there, and was well taken care of by the staff. She enjoyed the company of her peers, and appreciated the social events, delicious food, and salon services. Her room was bright and airy~ always kept clean by the staff who were so diligent. Her laundry , which was done weekly, came back clean and neatly folded. As her daughter, I appreciated the care given by the staff. The nursing staff are kind and compassionate. The admin staff is caring and competent, ensuring a well run establishment. When problems arise they were quickly and efficiently taken care of.
