As I count down the days until I ship I would like to thank my recruiter SSgt. Gavia for helping make this process very smooth. Making such a big life decision can be very difficult and quite intimidating. From the time I stepped into the recruiting office SSgt. Gavia has helped guide me through the beginning of this journey with ease. Anytime I had a question he had the answer and if it was something he was unsure about he figured it out right then and there. Going from knowing very little about the military at all including what job I wanted, to being much more knowledgeable and finding out that being a SERE Specialist in Air Force Special Warfare is what I truly want to do. For anyone interested in joining get up with SSgt. Gavia. He will take care of you.

There had been some bumps on the road but I am glad that we made it this far and I am excited to see what the future holds.
